When do the Best % and Attempts details appear?

The Best % • Attempts line (for example, "Best 90% • 3 attempts") appears only after you’ve made two or more attempts on a quiz or assessment. This helps keep the interface clean and focused when you’re still on your first try.
When these details show up
Once you’ve taken a quiz or assessment at least twice, HuntCode will display:
- Best %: The highest score you’ve achieved so far.
- Attempts: The total number of times you’ve taken the quiz or assessment.
If you’ve only completed one attempt, you’ll just see your latest score. The additional details appear automatically once multiple attempts exist.
Why it works this way
Showing attempts only when relevant helps reduce clutter and keeps the Roadmap and quiz pages focused on your most important result. As you retry quizzes, the system gives you clearer insights into improvement over time.
These attempt summaries help you track progress and understand how your mastery changes with each retry, without overwhelming you during early attempts.
