How do CodeLab challenge totals work inside each module?

Published
Updated

Each module shows the total number of CodeLab challenges assigned to it, along with how many you’ve completed so far. This gives you a clear snapshot of your hands-on coding progress as you move through the curriculum.

Where challenge totals appear

On your Roadmap, each module card includes a small progress indicator that shows:

  • Total challenges: The number of CodeLab tasks linked to that module.
  • Completed challenges: How many you’ve successfully finished.

These totals update automatically as you complete each CodeLab challenge.

Do CodeLab totals affect module completion?

No. CodeLab challenges are optional and do not determine whether a module is marked as completed. Only the lesson quizzes are required. CodeLab challenges simply help you reinforce skills and prepare more effectively for assessments.

Use the challenge totals on your Roadmap to track progress and ensure you’ve practiced the core concepts for each module.
