How do CodeLab challenge totals work inside each module?

Each module displays the total number of CodeLab challenges assigned to it, along with how many you’ve completed so far. This provides a clear view of your hands-on progress as you move through the course.
Where challenge totals appear
Within your progress tracking, each module includes a progress indicator that shows:
- Total challenges: The number of CodeLab tasks linked to that module.
- Completed challenges: How many you’ve successfully finished.
These totals update automatically as you complete each CodeLab challenge.
Do CodeLab totals affect module completion?
No. CodeLab challenges are optional and do not determine whether a module is marked as complete. Module completion is currently based only on lesson quiz submission. CodeLab challenges are designed to help you reinforce skills and build practical experience.
