How Do I Become Eligible for a Certification?

Published

Certification eligibility in CertLab is determined by your progress through required learning materials and assessments. Eligibility ensures that certifications reflect consistent effort and verified understanding.

Eligibility Requirements

To become eligible, learners must complete all required lessons within a module and pass associated quizzes and assessments. Some certifications may include additional criteria depending on course design.

  • Completion of all required modules and lessons
  • Passing scores of 70% or higher on required quizzes
  • Passing scores of 70% or higher on required assessments
  • No incomplete or skipped required lessons
  • Compliance with attempt limits or cooldown rules

Why Eligibility Matters

Eligibility helps maintain the integrity of certifications by ensuring they reflect sustained learning and verified understanding rather than isolated test performance.

How Eligibility Appears in CertLab

In CertLab, certification download options remain disabled by default until eligibility requirements are met. This helps ensure certifications are only issued after all required learning and assessment criteria are completed.

  • The Certificate of Completion becomes available after all required lessons are completed and all quizzes are passed with a score of 70% or higher.
  • The Certificate of Proficiency becomes available after all required quizzes and all required module assessments are passed with a score of 70% or higher.

Progress meters displayed in CertLab show completion status for modules, lessons, and assessments. These indicators update automatically as progress is made and reflect whether certification requirements have been satisfied.

Once eligibility conditions are met, the corresponding certificate download button becomes enabled automatically.
