Is my account information secure?

Yes. HuntCode uses industry-standard practices to protect your data and keep your account secure. This includes secure password hashing, encrypted connections, and optional Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for an additional layer of protection.
How HuntCode Protects Your Data
We follow modern security practices to ensure your account and personal information stay safe. This includes:
- Secure password hashing: Your password is stored using industry-preferred hashing algorithms. We never store plain-text passwords.
- Encrypted connections: All data transmitted between your browser and HuntCode servers is encrypted using HTTPS.
- Protected user data: Progress, lessons completed, HuntBot history, and account details are stored securely in our database.
- Regular infrastructure monitoring: Our systems are monitored for unusual activity and updated with modern security patches.
Added Protection With MFA
For increased security, HuntCode supports Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). When MFA is enabled, you’ll need both your password and a one-time code from an authenticator app to sign in. This makes unauthorized access significantly more difficult, even if someone knows your password.
If you need help enabling MFA, contact us at support@huntcode.com.
How You Can Keep Your Account Secure
We recommend following these simple steps to protect your account:
- Use a strong, unique password for HuntCode.
- Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Never share your login details with anyone.
- Be cautious when signing in on shared or public devices.
- Log out when you’re done, especially on non-private computers.
If you ever notice unusual activity on your account, change your password immediately and contact our support team so we can help secure your account.
